Float - Oil on canvas

She often referred to her heart as a glass container

Something completely transparent,

Where her feelings were always put out on display.

Yet, no one could touch her.

No one could warm her up

So instead she just smiled.

Even when we poured her heart out,

Letting free, all the bottled-up emotions that swam away,

No one reached out to grab one.

Under pressure

Getting assigned the challenge to pull together an Art Show in 40 day was probably one of the best and worst e things that could’ve happened to me honestly.

I can finally see my art improving and developing after being stagnant in the same place for years! It’s so exciting seeing new dynamics within my art that I haven’t seen before since I’m being forced to draw and paint every day. My sketchbook has been filling up as well with doodles, thumbnails, warm ups, and ideas 💡 ahhhhh so exciting.

Title: Less. Oil paint on canvas
“We fell in love quickly
And we fell out of love slowly
You descended first,
And I slowly trickled behind you
Pieces of myself dripped tediously with each night
And every morning I woke up
the pain was a little...

Beginning of the day’s work versus the end. All that’s left is the fishyyyyy

Your hair is so long, natural, and gorgeous! Do you have any hair tips?

Thank you so much!

As for hair tips, my routine is really simple: I wash my hair once a week with argon oil cowash, (I use shampoo every other week) along with deep conditioning it with olive oil deep conditioner and then I braid it up directly after using shea moisturizer leave in conditioner lol (I use a lot of product, especially on my ends)

I wear head wraps or a wig in the winter because my hair is really brittle and sensitive to the cold/dryness. In the summer I usually let the braids sit for a day or two (so it’s dry) under a head wrap and then let it fly free for the remaining five days 😁✨
